Playing Many Parts

Still Here, Crafting Away

I have a little obsession right now, making bags. My biggest problem is that I have such a small attention span that most of the purse/bag projects and patterns I find online take too long and I loose interest before I can enjoy my new bag. I have solved that problem, if I am willing to make a more “flexible” bag. I found a pattern online (sorry, will post later since I have lost the link) to make a bag out of one yard of fabric.

All you do is fold your fabric in half. Pin your fabric on the three sides without the fold, leaving a 1 inch gap in one side to turn right-side-out. Sew a 1/4″ boarder. Turn bag right-side-out. Stuff half of your bag into the other half. Turn down top of bag about an inch. Iron. Sew on handles of choice. Enjoy your bag!! Here is my newest beach bag. . .
